Electromagnetic Field Simulation

Electromagnetic field (EMF) simulations in Magnetic Resonance Imaging enable a pre-prototype assessment of a device under test which is connected to electromagnetic field of any kind (static to radiofrequency). Techniques to solve the electromagnetic field in the definition room include closed analytical formulations, the method of moments (MOM), the finite element method (FEM), finite-difference time-domain (FDTD), and combinations thereof. They can be classified by integral equation and differential equation solver the approach to solve the Maxwell equation.
